first impressions
**Okay so I wrote a post but then it kind of disappeared and I’m too lazy to retype everything so here’s a lamer version.

One more day at home and then it’s off to Scotland I go… I’m not sure what the dominating emotion I’m experiencing right now is. Excitement? Nervousness? Anxiety? Euphoria? As I am leaving for Scotland in exactly one week, I decided to draw up a list of resolutions for myself.
1) be friendlier. this includes: being better at small talk, initiating conversation, smiling more. i think i’m pretty friendly when i first meet people, but it still requires effort. i am so bad at small talk it’s actually kind of hilarious. what will i talk about? the weather?...

2.5 weeks until Scotland
It just hit me that I’ll be in Edinburgh in two and a half weeks.
And I’ll be stuck there (willingly?) for five months.
Reasons why I’m worried:
